Our client is an energy efficiency partner providing turnkey solutions for facilities. Their system provides real-time data for energy performance and cost savings while providing the facility needs through sustainable energy optimization. They integrate with existing building automation systems and offer a holistic approach to significantly reducing operational expenses.

Role

Our Client is looking to place a Finance Manager to develop and manage the finance activities with direction from company executives. They will analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the company.

Tasks

  • Oversee the daily operation of the finance function, and coordinate schedules, activities, and reports with other departments.
  • Establish and maintain operating procedures, such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, budget, etc.
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and project cash flows.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow forecast using the previous six months and forecast the coming twelve months.
  • Provide executives with up-to-date information ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
  • Investigate complex financial transactions and prepare reports summarizing the findings.
  • Keep daily track of all business-related bank accounts.
  • Establish and/or maintain relationships with banks. Negotiate bank facilities such as LCs and Bank Guarantees, bonds, interest rates, fees, etc.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
  • Identifying areas for efficient cost management and areas of improvement.
  • Support Supply chain team in supplier negotiations, selections, inventory management, etc.
  • Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
  • Provide internal and external auditing services for the Company.
  • Support Supply chain team in supplier negotiations, selections, inventory management, etc.
    Perform and supervise financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting duties.
  • Evaluate subordinate work performance and conformance to regulations and make appropriate recommendations in line with the Company review process.
  • Train employees in Company accounting procedures
  • Oversee, manage, and develop KPIs for the finance and accounting team.
  • Implement ERP system (Oracle, Microsoft, SAP)
  • Create and develop Finance, Accounting, HR, and administration policies and procedures.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of the operational policies and procedures, and internal controls covering all areas of accounting activities.

Profile & Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA certification
  • 7+ years of experience in a related role.
  • Strong English and Arabic communication skills.
  • Excellent PC skills and thorough knowledge of MS Office.
  • Experience using Accounting Software and Tally
  • Solid understanding of the start-up environment
