Our client is an energy efficiency partner providing turnkey solutions for facilities. Their system provides real time data for energy performance and cost savings while providing the facility needs through sustainable energy optimization. They integrate with existing building automation systems and offer a holistic approach to significantly reducing operational expenses.


We are looking to place a Deputy General Manager to support the General Manager (GM) in day-to-day activities and management of the business unit. The ideal candidate will be required to set strategic direction for the business, grow and develop the business in line with the organizational strategies, build the organization’s brand image and standing in the market, build organization’s capability to meet the needs of the market, hire, train, and motivate staff and ensure a safe working environment for the employees. The Deputy GM will also be required to bring in new business and maintain pre-existing client relationships.


This role will be responsible for activities in the following areas:

Develop, execute, and implement business plans and strategies for all business units within the division.

  • Review and analyze reports and directives.
  • Assigns and delegates responsibilities for functional activities.
  • Disseminate policy to Sales Managers and subordinates.
  • Gives work directions, resolves problems prepares schedules, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Coordinates activities of the department with related activities of other departments to ensure efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze costs and prepares budgets.
  • Prepare reports and records on department activities for management.
  • Recognizes new development and anticipates a change in the market.

Manage Business Units Managers:

  • Assign, review sales pipeline, and assist in closing sales and contracts.
  • Develop, manages, coach, motivate managers, and guide sales activities.
  • Proposes and executes policies and programs to achieve maximum sales volume potential for products and services.
  • Designs and applies the sales strategy and sales plan.
  • Resolve conflicts escalated by Business Unit Manager and/or customers.

Profile & Background

The ideal candidate must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
  • 7-10 years experience in HVAC or BMS. Preferably BMS experience.
  • Excellent PC skills and thorough knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent English and Arabic communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of the start-up environment
